What's Happening at the Library this Summer?


Computer Technical Help
If you have computer questions free technical help is being offered
Tuesday afternoons from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Special "In Library Mini Workshops" will be offered
again starting in the fall.




Congratulations to all the "Reading Challenge" participants!
Reading contests for ages 8 to 16 were very successful again this year.
At the closing party everyone enjoyed ice cream sundaes and talked about the many great books.
The Senior winner was Rachel Bondi and the Junior Winner was Cassandra Kuntsi.
Many thanks to the Friends of the Library and a generous personal donation for the prizes!

An Exciting New Format for Talking Books.
The library is now lending out a great selection of "Playaways" for talking book fans.
"Playaways" are pre-loaded digital audio books half the size of a deck of cards
that you can listen to with ear buds while walking.
We will also supply an adaptor so you can listen using the speakers in your car audio.
Some special lending rules will apply so please see Debbie for more details.

We now have wireless internet at the library
so if you have a lap top be sure to come in and take advantage of this free service!

We also have new Large Print Books as well as new best sellers and childrens books.
